When Did Tea Consumption Start in Scotland?

Scotland has a very long tradition of tea drinking.

Tea drinking was introduced to Scotland in 1680 by Mary of Modena, then Duchess of York.   She was visiting her first husband, better known as King James VII of Scotland.
